been following australian open 2008. looks like theres quite a few upsets. hmm...like philip kohlschreiber(guy in green) beating andy roddick. i like his backhand sia. ha. or how about jo-wilfried tsonga beating rafael nadal in the semis. thats way cool man. the way tsonga was playing...woah...lotsa power involved. maria sharapova beat ana ivanovic to clinch the australian open title. the standard of play isnt as high as the guys, but its still nice to watch though. sharapova was playing with so much power as well. i think her arms are bigger than mine! yet still so pretty. haha. shan describes her as a monster cos she has such strong strokes. wth man. if sharapova is a monster, shes a really pretty blonde monster! katherine heigl acts in 27 dresses in this romedy. its nice. and it so isnt a chick flick. more romedy than chick flick i think. romedy as in 'music & lyrics' , or something like 'no reservations'. heres a little preview on it =) oh yes and its day 43.43 more days to freedom.haha. Sunday, January 13, 2008 like alright man. its the new year! so much has been going on since i last blogged. haha i think even my facebook is more updated sia. so like i added that cool thing on the side bar. found an ORD counter thing. lol. im so looking forward to it la. like after CNY will be damn happy sia. and ive finished all my lessons for driving...and my traffic police test is on 10th march! so there better be no screw ups when i collect my PINK IC in the morning man. then like later afternoon can get driving licence! haha my common mistakes so far are like not checking blind spots. damn man. i keep making a concious effort to do it! and like not checking mirrors when slowing down or moving off -_- moving on... i ish been listens to vely bad engrish this weeks. and itsh super farnies becosh thish guy talks a lots. and everytimes hes opening his mouths i wantch to laughs to myselfs. he is anyhows using the enrish ranguage to speaking. worst part are he is cantch pronouncing my names propry. hes are calling me alvin choys. like omg man. damn LOL sia. but damn bad if i laugh in front of him sia. HAHA. been going monopoly siao man. since like new years day at jolenes? haha. all thanks to enlin the pro who knew all the rules and wanted to play it since everyone else was sleeping at like 8am? only enlin evan and i didnt sleep sia. play monopoly. haha. so like since then the following few sundays, pple all pai kah cant play soccer, so like crashed darryls and played monopoly. like oh man. its so fun sia. especially with the right pple. theres was like zunkit the pro who knew all the rules too, and like funny pple like shan jas sam darryl. we sort of made up our own rules too...ha and like today did it again. yep. monopoly AGAIN. lol. shit man. maybe should start playing soccer again man. went darryls to get his 'world cup 98' monopoly. and like after lunch at clementi botak jones where the burger shrunk, crashed my place. when we opened darryls monopoly...damn funny sia. it was a DISNEY board but with world cup stuff. so cant play if not damn confusing. like damn LLD (laugh like darryl) sia. in the end used my damn old classic monopoly set. hahaha. Friday, November 09, 2007 finally man. got a permanent posting at base. whatever happens...good or bad. ive got FOUR more months to ORD. dont really give a shit though. haha. just pray and trust that god will help me through it. ive completed all my driving lessons already man. ive been taking it every night. but im such a dumbass i forgot about taking the final theory :/ cos i cant book the TP practical test without passing final theory. haha. gota wait till next sat then can book! i guess its been an interesting experience. driving isnt that hard to pick up once u got the hang of the clutch n gears. its the bloody safety checks that is messing me up. haha. maybe ive picked up too many bad habits from my dad watching him drive. hmm. but ive cut out quite abit of my bad habits. like changing lane when approaching a pedestrian crossing. exceeding the speed limit. going round a bend too fast. stopping on a zebra crosing. etc. HAHA. kinda reckless sia. but ive already cut out the above mentioned =p i know the background may look kinda corny. just ignore it. haha cos i duno any other way to share this song online :/ im a technology nut. like im trying to burn a dvd now but i cant seem to do it. haha. im still trying to figure it out...gah...haha Sunday, October 07, 2007 bye bye keat hong. moving on to sungei gedong. eww man. at the far north western end of this island, surrounded by cemetries and farms. haha. this was released like last year. if u got the time just hear it out. its a really interesting new theory to me. cos i nvr heard of something like that before. haha. kinda weird yet interesting. Sunday, September 23, 2007 im at keat hong camp for now. somewhere in choa chu kang. i realise something interesting about the pple here. they got really interesting names written on their name tags. cool name: spuyt. i cant even pronounce that. funny sounding name: chee perry. really FUNNY name: DINO KONG. i laughed my ass off man. haha. i was doing some random inspection on some random weapons and this fella walked past me. lol. think he looked at me when i laughed. damn. LOL. i feel sad for dino kong. the school jaga for my sec sch had a more funny name. MAMASAN. yup thats his name. this old friendly indian guy. haha. i checked it at the end of the year when the year book comes out, and they got pics of non-teaching staff. maybe if DINO KONG walks past me again i should try and hold my laughter. im such an ass. haha. Monday, September 17, 2007 my chinese is terrible. this is an actual conversation of me talking to a drinks stall uncle at a new camp 2 weeks back. cos the new technician uniform is kinda weird and i was new there, so he probably dosent recognise and just asked this: me: UNCLE. liang li ji dan and kopi. uncle: ok. ni men shi resrvist arh?! ni men chong na li lai de arh? me: uncle liang li ji dan! lol. kana jack man. my friend standing next to me was laughing his ass off. JACK. ok this wasnt a case of my chinese being terrible, rather its a case of me not listening properly! =p haha like finally man. oeti days are gone. time has moved on. and wow...its 25 more weeks to ORD! ask u something. is serangoon considered central? well if it is, is choa chu kang central? haha. apparently the pple in charge think it is. yep thats where im traveling aroud to do my internship. though its really far, the working environment is surprisingly good with nice superiors. yay. thank god. and my fellow interns are fine too, except for 1 or 2. haha. been really tired from travelling to n fro cck everyday. haha...but i guess now ive sort of settled in. i nvr thought i would say this, but im going past lot 1 at cck everyday. if u nvr heard of lot 1, i dont blame u. haha. CPL DAVE TEO has screwed up the lives of those still serving ns. haha. cos of him, theres a lot more security checks than normal. going in and out. its so mafan :/ and cos of him, guard duty has become different. haha. before it all happened, guard duty on sunday has always been peaceful cos nobody wants to come to camp on a sunday. peace has been disrupted :/ sigh. i prefer weekend duties to weekday duties. peace man. BUT. who cares. 25 more weeks. wooh. having such a job like mine now, i was wondering if it would be worth my time to go learn driving or prepare myself for accountancy next year. i think driving sounds a hell lot more fun than STUDYING. eew. but for pple like enlin, pls ignore that last line =) i'd nvr sat on a motorbike before. my dad always told me not to, even if ur friend offers u a lift. oops. haha. cos i did last week. just once. just for the experience. it was kinda scary at 1st. but heck. i missed the bus, i was in cck, the biker friend was next to me. haha. the choice is obvious. when my dad asked me how i got home, me being the truthful guy i am =p told him i took my friends bike. lol. that same nite, he showed me a news article of an army guy involved in a bike accident :/ well i guess he loves me. haha. i just wondered at that moment what would have happened if i told him i took my friends bike again everyday. would he have taken out a whole archive of bike accidents. lol. k la but i do strongly feel that bikes are really vulnerable on the road. no matter how safe a driver u are, singapore always manages to produce retards who drive recklessly. retards exist in our country. sigh. from fierce aunties who push their way up the bus, to retarded school kids who blast music on the bus. oh well...
